After an exciting day in the mountains, you can relax in the heated outdoor pool or the sauna, or work out in the gym at Chalet Anthocyane.
Set in the heart of the Aravis mountains, it is easy to get to the La Balme and Les Confins ski areas, but you will also be close to La Clusaz’s shops and amenities. The Fernuy and Balme gondolas are just 2km away, giving you access to 130km of pistes across four sectors. The shuttle serving the Balme and Aiguille ski areas stops directly opposite the chalet. Supermarkets and the ski school can be reached via another shuttle, which stops 100 m from the front door.
Outside the ski season, you can enjoy a pleasant walk to Lac des Confins, or along the river to La Clusaz. If you want to explore further afield, there are many hiking and mountain biking trails in the area.
About the property…
Chalet Anthocyane is a stunning three-storey property for up to 14 guests. It has five bedrooms, four of which have en-suite shower rooms.
The ground floor houses the first bedroom, a children’s room with six single beds and a television, as well as access to a shower room with WC. The sauna and a well-equipped gym are also on this floor.
The garden level is surrounded by a balcony/terrace with panoramic views. Large windows frame the mountains and fill the spacious open-plan living area with light. Two seating areas, separated by a suspended fireplace, mean you can get together and watch television in one or curl up with a book from the library in the other. The fully equipped kitchen opens onto a dining table large enough for everyone to eat together. And when it’s time to relax, you’ll find the heated swimming pool on the terrace.
The first floor is dedicated to sleeping quarters. There are four double bedrooms, two of which can be set up with twin beds, depending on your needs. Every room has an en-suite shower and WC, and opens onto a balcony.
On the practical side, there’s a ski store with heated boot racks on the garden level, as well as a laundry room with a washing machine and dryer, a large garage for two cars, and three additional outdoor parking spaces.

This chalet is situated above La Clusaz, about 2.3km from the village centre.
La Clusaz is an authentic mountain village which blends tradition with up-to-date facilities. Its traditional chalets and lively streets attract mountain enthusiasts looking for a vibrant setting with Savoyard charm. Nestled in the heart of the Aravis massif, it is only 30 minutes from Annecy and close to Le Grand-Bornand and Manigod. Its warm atmosphere and easy accessibility make it a popular destination year-round.
In winter, the resort provides easy access to the Aravis ski area, offering 210km of pistes that combine long descents and technical sectors across La Clusaz, Le Grand-Bornand, Manigod, and Saint-Jean-de-Sixt. The region also offers a variety of winter activities, including cross-country skiing, dog sledding, sledging, snow biking, ice diving and ice skating.
During the rest of the year, numerous hiking and biking trails lead to iconic mountain passes and superb views over the Aravis, such as the Plateau des Glières. The nearby Lake Annecy is the ideal place to enjoy swimming, paddleboarding, and sailing.
